This interactive session prepares Boards, Policy Councils, and Parent Committees to lead meetings that are transparent, productive, and fully compliant with the Head Start Act and the 2024 Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Led by facilitators with decades of experience leading Head Start Policy Councils, this workshop pairs governance theory with the practical tools that make meetings actually function. Participants leave with an understanding of how to develop agendas, receive guidance on taking minutes, practice facilitating meetings, explore motion protocols, and gain a working command of Robert's Rules of Order.
